Class minimums: Class minimums
are listed on the vet's park clinic schedule page of this website. If the class minimum is not met for a particular clinic, it will be the option of those players
that have signed up whether or not they would like to participate in the class at the semi-private lesson rate.
Multi-student discount: Families with 2 or more students in MTA clinics
will receive a 10% discount for each clinic. This discount applies only to clinics that run by the session. Single
day clinics do not receive a discount.
Class admittance / move-ups: All new players
must have a verbal, and potentially on-court, evaluation from a member of the MTA staff in order to determine placement into
the proper class. We don't want students being bored by less advanced players, nor do we want them to be overwhelmed
by those who are more advanced. Likewise, all move-ups to higher level classes must be approved by the MTA staff.
Make-up policy: All clinics, unless otherwise stated, run in sessions. Please
see our vet's park clinic schedule page to see what the session dates are. Any missed classes can be made up in the same class that is offered on another
day. Make-ups must be approved by the pro and must not cause that class to exceed the class maximum.
All make-ups must be completed within the session that the class was missed.
Refunds:
MTA will offer players one of two options for classes that are not run in a particular session. Reasons classes may
not run include inclement weather or the illness of the MTA pro. A student who is ill or simply chooses not to come
to a clinic is not entitled to a refund. Refunds are only give when MTA cancels a class, and may be
given in the form of a monetary refund from MTA or a credit towards future clinics.
Weather:
Only MTA can cancel a class because of weather. In the case of bad weather, or if bad weather is expected, MTA will
post a notice on the home page of this website as to the status of clinics to be held for that day.
