The summer Jr. Team Tennis season begins in late June.  Check back soon for details.
Visit the CTA Website or Email Us for more information.

Jr. Team Tennis is a 6 to 8 week program of team practice and match play for youth age 6 to 18, where emphasis is placed on the fun, fitness and social benefits of tennis.

Teams are comprised of players of similar age and ability and compete against other teams from the same area in one of several divisions: 8 & Under  and 10 & Under Quickstart Format, 12 & Under Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced, 14 & Under Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced, 18 & Under Intermediate and Advanced.

Players are grouped according to ability levels using the National Tennis Rating Program (NTRP).  In Charlotte, over 1500 juniors play in the league during one or more of the two seasons.  Many children are introduced to tennis through the program and advance to compete in local and state USTA sanctioned tournaments.

For players 10 and under, Jr. Team Tennis uses the Quickstart format which features size appropriate equipment and courts to make sure kids get the most enjoyment out of the game.  Check out the information below for more about Quickstart Tennis.  There are also a few videos you can link to.
